We are now told the reason.
• Our source says that Will Beall's Justice League movie script was written in such a way that it didn't include the knowledge of a Cinematic Universe; that Beall's draft isn't reflected of Henry Cavill's portrayal of the character from Man of Steel as it was written.
• David Goyer will be rewriting Superman's arc in the script.
• Our source also now tells us that Warner Bros. is preparing to offer a lucrative package to Zack Snyder to direct Justice League for a 2015/16 release; Shortly before or after Man of Steel's release is an expected time of OFFICIAL announcement.
This information comes after the recent news that said the Justice League movie is dependent on the Man of Steel success.

Also, Zack Snyder previously stated that his Man of Steel was going to have nothing to do with the Justice League movie, that it would be "it's own thing," but only recently seemed to change his tune which included the mention that Henry Cavill is signed on for three movies. this sounds very exciting and i expect that now that all the superman lawsuits are over and the new WB ceo Kevin Tsujihara is the new boss at wb i suspect nd hope JUSTICE LEAUGE will be Super fast tracked for 2015 release! thanks again to matt for the info!
When comes to special and visual effects, he's good. But when comes to story lines and stuff, it's not exactly one of his strong points. We'll see what happens, I guess. But I'm iffy about him.
