GOYER SAYS SUPERMANBATMAN MOVIE IS ALREADY FURTHER ALONG THEN MOST PEOPLE THINK!

News has been slowly trickling out from David Goyer, who was at the BAFTAs this week regarding his work in the DC Universe. He has talked on a wide range of topics, from Man Of Steel’s ending, Justice League, and his work with Christopher Nolan on The Dark Knight Trilogy. However, there is one topic that hasn’t been touched on all that much yet, the much anticipated Superman/Batman movie.
The Associated Press got a chance to chat with Goyer a little bit where he said that they are a little bit further along than what people probably realize. He also touched on whether or not fan backlash effects what they do. “One of the things that has been fun for us, is we’re a bit a further a long than what I think people realize,” he expained. “From a fan point of view, we’re conscious of that when you’re working on these things, but you can’t let yourself be paralyzed by that. At the end of the day you still have to creat something. And if you try and think, ‘Well what would the fans like’ then you stop being creative. It’s sort of like where does it end? You have to write the story that you want to write, and hope that people want to see it.”
What about the famed question, who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman? Goyer is remaining tight lipped on his opinion for fear that it might tip his hand, saying we’ll have to wait for a year and a half when the film comes out. However, he did offer this bit up, “Most comic book purest would says Batman because he is the ultimate strategist. Even though it makes no sense what so ever. If Superman just flicked his finger Batman would be done for.” So who do you have in a fight between the characters? Leave a comment in the boxes below on who you think would come out on top. As always make sure to check back here at Comic Book Therapy for the latest on Superman/Batman.

Michelle trachtenberg as Jean Grey or rachel summers in XMEN days of future past!

MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG IN ‘DAYS OF FUTURE PAST’?

speculationx-men
Time to speculate!
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST director, Bryan Singer recently started following“Buffy” and “Gossip Girl” actress, Michelle Trachtenberg on Twitter. Trachtenbergreturned the favor, following him as well. On April 11th, she tweeted her fans about getting a new red hair color; she didn’t give the reason for the change.
This could be a random coincidence, but fans are wondering if Trachtenberg’s dye-job is connected to her being involved with Singer’s film. Likely character choices would include a young Jean Grey in the 70′s or Rachel Summers, Cyclops and Jean’s daughter from an alternate future timeline, who appears in the original DOFP comic.
Thanks to Angamb for the scoop, and @X4Campaign for the heads up!

WARNER BROS SIGNS ARMIE HAMMER to JOIN TOM CRUISE in GUY RITCHIE DIRECTED MAN From U.N.C.L.E! COULD WB BE PREPPING ARMIE FOR BATMAN IN FUTURE!

Armie Hammer To Star With Tom Cruise In THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E

Deadline report that the Lone Ranger actor will join Tom Cruise in the upcoming big screen reboot of the classic tv series, which Guy Ritchie will direct for Warner Bros. Read on for more info..

4/24/2013

The Man From U.N.C.L.E has been knocking around at Warner Bros. for a long time now, and was originally set to star George Clooney and be directed by Steven Soderbergh until the actor was forced to drop out because of neck surgery. A while ago it was announced that Sherlock Holmes helmer Guy Ritchie was on board to direct, and Tom Cruise was in talks to star. Now Deadline report that it's a done deal, and joining him will be The Lone Ranger himself, Armie Hammer. The original TV series ran from 1964-68, and starred Robert Vaughan and David McCallum as agents of the United Network Command for Law Enforcement, Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin as they battled the evil forces of "Thrush" (sounds nasty). Apparently Hammer would play a version of the role originated by McCallum.

Twitter RUMORS: JUSTICE LEAGUE Moved To 2016? But will STILL BE RELEASED BEFORE ANY SOLO MOVIES! GREEN LANTERN 2 AFTER JL to be directed by Joseph Kosinksi!? BATMAN REBOOT MAN OF STEEL 2 in2017!

Another bunch of Twitter rumors have hit the web, this time focussing on the release date of DC's huge blockbuster Justice League read on for details!Rumor Number 1: Green Lantern 2 to be directed by TRON: Legacy helmer Joseph Kosinski.
Not having much to say on this rumor, apparently the director has been contacted by WB to meet about a future DC Comic film, while many think it could be The Flash , one person has said it is for a sequel to Green Lantern, Kosinski's visual effect history would be a great fit for Green Lantern

Rumor Number 2: Justice League leaves 2015's crowded schedule??
HopefullyThis rumor is FALSE but in a year (2015) that is filled with huge blockbuster releases like Avengers 2, Star Wars Episode 7,   Fantastic Four and Ant-Man it is concievabley that DC could possibly  sit this one out,(HOPEFULLY NOT!) but in a year with no releases slated, DC have apparently(rumor has it)  worked on a idea to have Justice League released in 2016 a year after Avengers 2 . Hopefully this rumor doesnt  pan out! WB Make that 2015 realease its Still two years  away and were only in the second quarter of 2013! but again at Least JLA is still ago before any solo films! in even more tidbit our buddy Matt from the awesome cosmicbook news has dropped this little nugget " 2017 is a "World's Finest" year of Man of Steel 2 and The Batman.
• "Expect movies every year after Justice League"    its gonna be an awesome year to be a DC FAN!

MICHAEL BAY'S MOVIE IS NOW CALLED "TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES"

With the Original News of a new TMNT reboot by Michael Bay, it was said that the "teenage mutant" aspects of the famous reptiles was being dropped in favor of an alien origin for "Ninja Turtles."
Well, it turns out that doesn't seem to be the case as Paramount apparently debuted a new logo at CinemaConthat read "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
Paramount, Bay and director Jonathan Liebesman may have seen the light of day as the online response has been overwhelmingly negative.
Now it turns out that the script has apparently been re-written as well by Evan Daugherty, which might help explain things. No plot details are known and the movie has already begun filming; Bay is on as producer and the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turlets" has a Summer 2014 release.
Megan Fox will play April O'Neil, with Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Will Arnett has an unknown role, and rounding out the cast of the Turtles are Alan RitchsonPetePloszek, Jeremy Howard and Noel Fisher.

Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman
Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern

Below, courtesy of WB Animation publicist Gary Mieranu, we have some behind the scenes snaps to accompany the voice cast announcement.

When time travel allows a past wrong to be righted for The Flash and his family, the ripples of the event prove disastrous as a fractured, alternate reality now exists where a Justice League never formed, and even Superman is nowhere to be found. Teaming with a grittier, more violent Dark Knight and Cyborg, Flash races to restore the continuity of his original timeline while this new world is ravaged by a fierce war between Wonder Woman's Amazons and Aquaman’s Atlanteans. With breath taking action and an all-star voice cast, it's a bold, emotional vision that will forever change the landscape of the DC Universe.
