The dastardly Seth MacFarlane has found an ingenious way to expand his already-tyrannical hold over primetime animation, a plan that now involves going all the way back in time to remake The Flintstones as a MacFarlane property. It’s the culmination of years of scheming and negotiating, with MacFarlane finally convincing skeptical rights holders that his interpretation wouldn’t sully whatever legacy the cartoon had left after The Flintstones In Viva Rock Vegas rolled credits. (Somewhat ominously, the deal does include the opportunity for MacFarlane to do more Flintstones movies.) Anyway, by taking over the show that paved the way for his own success, does this essentially make Seth MacFarlane his own father, and what ramifications will that have on the space-time continuum?

Curious to see how this show goes!!
ReplyDeleteIt has to be an adult version. Flintstones are dead, so it won't hurt to spice it up!
