Following a tease by director Marc Webb himself last week, Comingsoon now has your exclusive first look at the costume that will be featured in next summer's The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Check it out below!

As Webb promised last November, the costume features much bigger eyes and a number of alterations to color and texture throughout. This is quite arguably the closest any of the films have come to matching the design from the comics, especially Mark Bagley's take in Ultimate Spider-Man. A good visual comparison is this photo from last year's The Amazing Spider-Man, featuring Spidey in a similar pose.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away – but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Also starring Martin Sheen, Shailene Woodley, Paul Giammatti, Felicity Jones and Colm Feore, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters May 2, 2014.

UPDATED:NEW JUSTICE LEAUGE HUGE MOVIE SCOOP TO DROP ON MONDAY?

a new tweet from latinoreview's El mayimbe tweeted, ‘DC UNIVERSE FANBOYS! I’m working on dropping something VERY COOL the day after the Oscars about a specific member of THE JUSTICE LEAGUE.”
Assuming he has good intel on Warner’s upcoming plans, the obvious choices are Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, all of whom have projects in various stages of development at Warner Bros. presently. For any other member of the Justice League to be moving the needle at the studio right now, though, would likely be a bigger story.
The Academy Awards take place on Sunday, February 24, meaning that the news would drop on Monday. That would make it just over three weeks after El Mayimbe rocked the comics media with his allegations that Marvel moles had spilled a huge amount of Phase Two and Phase Three spoilers to him, including plans for a Planet Hulk movie.
What do you think–will he be able to drum up the same kind of hype twice? UPDATED! el mayimbe  just left a cryptic tweet on twitter ": Goodbye Will Beall, & hello there" ***** ***** :) who is the New justice leauge writer whos name has been blokced out? could it be david goyer?

ZACK SNYDER OFFERED JUSTICE LEAUGE AGAIN? YES PLEASE! DAVID GOYER REWRITING SUPERMANS ARC IN JLA MOVIE!? AWESOME!

my bud matt from cosmicbook news keeps  getting the good stuff and boy is it Good! in the words of captain picard! WB MAKE IT SO!!! now this id love to see seriously wb MAKE IT HAPPEN! according to cosmicbook news this i the info they obtained from theyre DC source! "A couple days ago we were told that Man of Steelwriter David Goyer is polishing Will Beall's Justice League movie script.
We are now told the reason.
• Our source says that Will Beall's Justice League movie script was written in such a way that it didn't include the knowledge of a Cinematic Universe; that Beall's draft isn't reflected of Henry Cavill's portrayal of the character from Man of Steel as it was written.
• David Goyer will be rewriting Superman's arc in the script.
• Our source also now tells us that Warner Bros. is preparing to offer a lucrative package to Zack Snyder to direct Justice League for a 2015/16 release; Shortly before or after Man of Steel's release is an expected time of OFFICIAL announcement.
This information comes after the recent news that said the Justice League movie is dependent on the Man of Steel success.
Also, Zack Snyder previously stated that his Man of Steel was going to have nothing to do with the Justice League movie, that it would be "it's own thing," but only recently seemed to change his tune which included the mention that Henry Cavill is signed on for three movies. this sounds very exciting and i expect that now that all the superman lawsuits are over and the new WB ceo Kevin Tsujihara is  the new boss at wb i suspect nd hope JUSTICE LEAUGE will be Super fast tracked for 2015 release! thanks again  to matt for the info!
